Hey Charles!

Thank you for your comments. Your post means alot to us as we've been working with you for a couple years now, and as you trust us as a curriculum provider, we trust you as a customer and we value your opinion (really! we do!) And honestly, trying to strike a better balance between making products easily accessible (which was a previous complaint from customers) as well as getting the uniqueness and friendly atmosphere that you mention, has been a goal of ours, but truthfully we aren't completely sure what things to change and what things to keep.

So what are your thoughts? We chose this site because it came with a lot of tools that enabled us to help customers more. we are able to track shipments, interact with products and support at the same time, we are able to do a lot more and reach out a lot more than before.

But if I'm understanding you correctly, you want to see the old face on the new tools, right? What was it about the old site that you liked, specifically? Was it the layout? the font? the colors? We can change things to make it better. What would you like to see? We can't bring back the exact old site, but we can change this one pretty much any way we need to to make it look the best possible.

Thank you again for your feedback. We really do appreciate you!

I just noticed your new site. I have to say that it is disappointing.

Although I had thought of several things to fix on your old website, I much prefer it to the new one. I suppose it was the uniqueness of your previous site that made it stick in my mind even after I had left the site.

The new site, however, is very plain and has nothing to distinguish it. Although it was clear that your old site held something special, this site looks very plain and everyday. I wouldn't think that there was anything exceptional on it if I don't already know what your material is like.

My last sentence may strike you as odd, since this site, unlike your old one, is clearly geared toward promoting and selling products. Yet this approach is old and cliched, thus having zero effect. What I mean is that although you have lots of things geared toward sales (Testimonial links, keyword-filled sentences on the home page, etc.), the effect on a viewer is negligible because your site seems no longer personal. Where before it was a unique site with regular-person language (albeit with flaws), it is now a standard, old, tiresome, same-old same-old, sell-as-much-as-I-can-however-I-can kind of site that will have NO appeal to new visitors. And where is your great, trademark logo?

Please bring the old site back. It looked like it was built and manned by a happy family who cared about their customers. I felt almost as if I was there. This new one looks like it's managed by cold, heartless, machines of people whose only goal is to sell their products.

I would like to add to this article by saying that a great way to buy your textbooks is through http://www.bigwords.com. Rather than spending top dollar at your campus bookstore, like I would do, I'd say go to bigwords.com. I figured this would be a helpful tip for those who are looking for other alternatives and ways of saving money on their textbooks. I've used this site for quite sometime and it's saved me a great deal of money. With its ability to search all the online textbook retailers and rental sites, it makes finding the best deal quite easy. It's pretty amazing!

Really even a math major is going to be re-taught the materials of these chapters in college. The university will re-teach it as if it is the first time students are seeing the material, so there isn't even a prerequisite for these chapters. In very real sense, these concepts are simply busy work for a high school math course.
